River Cast - Samantha Young

This is the second book in the Lunarmorte series.

"The war is escalating.
Caia is caught between her loyalty to the Daylights and her new insight into the hearts of the Midnights.
Invited to train at the Centre under the tutelage of the Daylights, Caia and Lucien immerse themselves in the world of the Head of the Coven, Marita. With an upcoming battle hanging over their heads, Caia and her Alpha struggle to understand Marita’s vision for the future of the Coven, and withstand her manipulation and plans for them. Plans that are sure to separate Caia from Pack Errante; plans that inadvertently push Caia not only further away from Lucien, but from all Daylights.

Conflicted… Caia must choose a side in the war. And her choice may mean sacrificing all those she has come to love."

There's only so many words i can use to describe this book, i mean arghh! It is just impossibly awesome there is seriously not one sentence that you get bored with, in every paragraph something is always happening, whether it breaks your heart or makes you jump for joy. Not meaning to sound totally cliche but what i am feeling right now is a whole lot of anger that the book finished on a cliffhanger....and i have to wait until the 8th of April for the next installment!
Well let me just say, kudos to Lucien for his work with Caia their relationship in the book turns into every possible direction which is certainly half the excitement of the novel. Everything just seems to sink into place as the story goes along, Samantha definitely did a fantastic job on this one, might even be better than the first novel. We'll just have to see if the third lives up to the expectations of the first two now.
This book gets a 9-9.5 in the SophaScale :P

Last Wolf Standing--Rhyannon Byrd

Okay let's just come out and say it, this book is awesome!!!
First of all, heres the description:
Five seconds ago, Mason Dillinger would have sworn that it could never happen...
That a woman who was his perfect match even existed. And that he'd find her in a bustling cafe. Yet just the scent of sweet, mortal Torrance Watson ignited a driving, explosive need to claim her that he knew his pack would never sanction.... Worse, the rogue werewolf he'd been hunting had senses that attraction and made Torry his prey. Forced to safeguard her from this ruthless assassin who already posed a threat to his pack, Mason now faced the ultimate challenge. Does he have the courage to cross the line by sealing the blood bond that will make Torry his kind ever survived-or live an eternity without love?

First of all i must warn you under age people that it does get a bit ummm Graphic?? well lets just say theres some sex scenes in there but you can easily skip them if you are not into that thing, because this book is not your average quick or basic romance. It has an entertaining love story behind it where the heroin runs away from him and then is tracked down again. It can be funny at some times and at other you just want to scream "I can't believe you just said that!!!"
When i got to the end it was very rewarding the way his love for her showed. The only annoying thing about it was her name, Torrance. After watching the last season of Australian Big Brother Torrance did put a bad image in my mind, but i got over it :)
Hope you enjoy the book.
