Hexbound - Chloe Neil

"Lily Parker is new to St. Sophia’s School for Girls, but she’s already learned that magic can be your best friend…or your worst enemy.

They say absolute power corrupts absolutely. Turns out, even a little magic can turn you to the dark side. That’s why Lily has to learn how to control her newly discovered paranormal abilities, on top of avoiding the snobs who think they run her school, nursing a crush on a cute sophomore with a big, werewolf-y secret, and fighting the good fight with her best friend Scout as they take on Chicago’s nastiest nightlife—including the tainted magic users known as Reapers.

Then Lily’s invited to a private meeting with Sebastian. He’s hot, powerful, and offering to help her harness the magic flowing in her veins in a way no one else can. He’s also a Reaper. Lily can’t hide her suspicions. But she’ll soon find out that the line between good and evil isn’t always clear…"

Well, this is the second book in the series, i should have uploaded my review for the first book but since i read it a while ago i
didn't think i would do it enough justice. I absolutely love this series especially this book. You never really know whats coming because it has so many open ends that can lead to different things but also come together to make you think "ohhhhhh that totally fits in well". For the characters themselves Lily and Scout are two amazing people to read about, however I'm not to keen on Jason he really seems like he's hiding something, i love werewolves but lily and Jason's relationship doesn't seem strong enough....enter Sebastian, who cares if he's evil he's totally smexxy to think about with Lily and there is going to be LOTS of controversy if they get into it, i smell an interesting read coming on! (sorry if some people are reading this and going wahh?! because seriously....READ IT!) the thing i was absolutely annoyed about *SMALL SPOILER* was when Jason went all "being a werewolf is a curse, i can only be around friends when i change, my parents are going to pick a female wolf out for me one day blah blah blah" i don't know whether i was just feeling what Lily would of felt or what but i just hated it.
Don't let that slow you down because all in all it was just thrilling to read and gets an 8 on the SophaScale :P
